Project Details

It has come with a powerful camera to be used in monitoring, drilling and borehole maintenance; it also comes with a support truck to carry accessories. The machine was procured at a cost of Kes. 40m, of which MCAs contributed Kes. 35m, and Kes 5m being the County Government’s contribution.

The ability of The Rig:

It can drill up to 400m depth
Use bits of 6 to 12 inches
Has a maximum hammer of force of 10,000kgs.
Has a mud pump to be used in difficult soil formation.
Has a built in welding machine.
Powerful Compressor of pressure 12000psi
Has a water and mud pump.
